I am a Professor of Economics at the University of Manitoba, with a PhD in economics from Washington University.
My research examines how institutional structures, economic policy, and conflict shape economic outcomes across countries and populations. This work has appeared in journals such as the Canadian Tax Journal, Southern Economic Journal, Economic Modelling, Defence and Peace Economics, European Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Economics, Race, and Policy, and the American Economic Review P&P.
