I am a Professor of Economics and hold a PhD from Washington University. I serve as an executive member of the Canadian Development Economics Study Group as well as the Defence and Security Economics Workshop.

The 20th annual Defence & Security Economics Workshop is being held on Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31, 2025 at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. All papers in defence and security economics will be considered. This will be an in-person only conference.

If you are interested in presenting a paper, please submit an abstract to DefenceEconomicsCanada@gmail.com. The deadline for submission is June 30th, 2025.
